These Terms of Service govern your use of the Soup & Story website and purchases made through it. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Products and availability
We make reasonable efforts to describe our products accurately. Product availability may change, and we may limit quantities, discontinue products, or correct pricing or descriptive errors.
Product photographs are intended to represent our products, but appearance may vary.
Food information and allergens
Ingredients and allergen information are provided on individual product pages. Customers with food allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions are responsible for reviewing this information before purchasing or consuming a product.

Orders
Submission of an order does not guarantee acceptance. We may cancel or limit an order when reasonably necessary because of product availability, suspected fraud, pricing errors, delivery limitations, or other legitimate operational reasons. If we cancel an order that has already been charged, we will issue the appropriate refund.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes and delivery charges are calculated during checkout. Payment is processed through Shopify and available payment providers.
Subscriptions
Subscription purchases automatically renew at the frequency selected by the customer until paused or canceled. Customers expressly authorize recurring charges when completing a subscription purchase. Additional terms are described in our Subscription Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Delivery
Soup & Story currently offers regional delivery to eligible Connecticut addresses. Delivery fees, minimum-order requirements, schedules, and eligibility are described during checkout and in our Delivery Policy.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and accessible delivery address and for promptly storing frozen food after delivery.
Refunds
Food products are subject to our Refund Policy. Please review that policy before ordering.
Website use
You may use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not interfere with the website's operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, use automated systems in a manner that disrupts the service, or use our content or services for fraudulent or unlawful activity.
Intellectual property
The Soup & Story name, branding, website content, photographs, graphics, text, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Soup & Story and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without permission except as permitted by law.
Third-party services
Our website relies on third-party services, including Shopify and payment providers. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply to services they provide directly.
Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Soup & Story is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits rights provided to consumers by applicable law.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the website when you place an order will apply to that order unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut and applicable federal law, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that may apply.
